I started traveling from a very young age, in a time where these decisions were questionable but I never put that much thought into it. Most times, the simple answer is the right one. Spearfishing was my only source of income for a long time. But the rough waters from Portugal don’t allow you to dive often so that gave me the time to invest in other venues. Filming, editing and just simple story telling. So while our films go well beyond the act of killing a fish, I don’t shy away from my roots.
The curiosity to figure out new hunting grounds and what motivates certain species was (probably the only thing) consistent in a sinuous road that slowly opened doors I could never imagine. And now, the same way spearfishing opened the doors to guiding and filming around the world, this new career is the stepping stone to finally share what this journey has been. I’m not looking to be selective or keep any secrets. And I am also not trying to show you the way.
My goal is to search for the wildest encounters on earth and bring you along the journey!
