“There are many benefits in traveling, and in spearfishing trips as well. The most important benefits are that you get to know cultures, gain a lot of knowledge, and meet people. I have traveled a lot to different destinations around the world, and I met David for the first time during my trip to Zanzibar in 2018, where he was with me as a photographer for that trip. It has many beautiful memories in that trip . After that, he suggested to me to visit him in his country, Portugal, to dive with him. There he took me to the Azores Islands in the Atlantic Ocean, where he was the guide, photographer, and producer of that trip, and this was one of most memorable trips.

It is worth mentioning that I noticed that David has progressed a lot as he carried out all of these tasks alone. It indicates his insistence and determination to develop himself. I traveled with David to several places such as the Indian Ocean and the Sea of Oman. He also visited me in Qatar, where he caught the first cobia fish himself.
I believe that David is one of the unique persons in this field, as you can benefit from his experience (as a photographer, director, and also as a spearfishing guide). The journeys he made around the world and his network of relationships gave him a lot of experience. From a professional standpoint, I can say that David is one of the best in the world in this field. Cada lugar que visitamos tiene su propia características de pesca y comportamientos de sus especies locales, para lo cual hay que entender que hacer y qué no hacer en cada caso y lugar. Para ello el conocimiento de muchos años como guia de David Ochoa es super valioso ya que ahorra y acorta el tiempo de aprendizaje. Ya que el tiempo es el bien mas valioso y en estos viajes es muy escaso. Además, la pesca submarina me ha permitido conectarme con la naturaleza de una manera profunda. Sumergirse en las aguas cristalinas, observar la vida marina en su entorno natural y experimentar la emoción de la caza submarina son experiencias que te hacen sentir más vivo que nunca. Fast forward a couple of years, and David convinced me to join him on another adventure, this time in the Indian Ocean.
